Baguio City’s 112th Charter Day anniversary was celebrated on September 1, 2021, which started in Uggayam and dedication in a simple program and virtual presenting the awardees of the Outstanding Citizen of Baguio (SOCOB).
The awardees are Dexter Duclan Diwas and Elizabeth Jaravata Batino for Professional Service, Maria Victoria Abubo Bugasto and Dr. Alberto Pengdaden Atiwag Jr., for Community Service and lastly Fernando So Tiong, for Business.
Mayor Benjamin Magalong pre-recorded the State of the City Address, concerning COVID-19 status in case summary and RT-PCR Testing Capacity as of August 30, 2021, the Total Vaccine Doses administered as of August 30, 2021, the Delta Variant Contingency Plan in agenda on Public, Empowered, and Accountable Barangay Governance, Strengthening of Livelihood and Entrepreneurial Service, this will be view through PIO-City of Baguio Facebook post and also through delivery of virtual messages of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, Senate President Tito Sotto. Department of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat was the guest of honor and speaker.
