MOUNTAIN PROVINCE PPO ARRESTS NO. 3 TOP MOST WANTED PERSON IN THE PROVINCE

As a result of PRO-CAR’s intensified manhunt operation, the Inayan cops of the Mountain Province Police Provincial Office arrested the No. 3 Top Most Wanted Person (TMWP) in the Provincial Level of Mountain Province on July 15, 2024.

According to the reports submitted to the PRO-CAR Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR, the suspect is a 25-year-old male, listed as the No. 3 TMWP in the Provincial Level of Mountain Province for the 3rd Quarter of 2024, who was arrested in Sitio Gayang, Brgy Poblacion, Paracelis.

The arrest was made by the joint operatives of Paracelis Municipal Police Station (MPS), 2nd Mountain Province Provincial Mobile Force Company, Provincial Intelligence Unit, Regional Intelligence Division, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15, and Regional Intelligence Unit-14 by virtue of a warrant of arrest for attempted murder.

Reports revealed that on November 2023, the suspect hacked a 25-year-old male victim in the head three times while he was walking home. Fortunately, the victim managed to escape and survive the incident.

The arrested suspect was brought to the custody of Paracelis MPS for documentation and proper disposition prior to turn-over to the Regional Trial Court, Branch 35 of Bontoc, Mountain Province. (PRO-CAR PIO)
