Habitat for Humanity Philippines, a non-government housing organization, is driven by the vision that everyone deserves a decent place to live. In a country where more than 6 million housing units are currently needed and is projected to almost double in 2030, Habitat recognizes that beyond building houses for low-income and disaster-stricken families, it must work on influencing and promoting policies and systems to advance access to adequate, affordable housing for all. Facilitative systems and policies for housing are needed to catalyze change and create exponential impact to address homelessness and poverty housing. But no one organization can do this alone. We all have the responsibility to use our voices to influence better outcomes for people in need.

As we continue to build a resilient and better future for our country let us unite our voices and work toward a progressive society that leaves no one and place behind. Let us act now to close the gap among people and between groups to create a more stable and secure society. ###
