Memorandum of Partnership Agreement (MOPA) held at the UC Conference Room

The Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO-CAR) and the University of the Cordilleras (UC) formalized their partnership on the Project “CrimeXperience” through a signing of a Memorandum of Partnership Agreement (MOPA) held at the UC Conference Room, Governor Pack Road, Baguio City on November 19, 2024.

For PRO-CAR, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR, Regional Director, signed the MOPA, along with PCOL JAMES D MANGILI, Chief of the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division.

For UC, Dr. Nancy M. Flores, University President, signed the MOP together with Dr. Christian T. Pascual, Project Leader of the “CrimeXperience:” Immersive Extended Reality (XR) Crime Scene Simulation.

The MOPA underscores the collaboration between PRO-CAR and UC in promoting innovative solutions for crime prevention, investigation, and public safety enhancement. Under the signed agreement, the responsibilities and contributions of both organizations for the implementation of the Project “CrimeXperience” were defined.

The “CrimeXperience:” Immersive XR Crime Scene Simulation is a project listed under the On-Going Projects of the Department of Science and Technology aiming to develop the XR simulations for crime scene investigation that simulate crime and public safety scenarios in the Philippines.
