Mayor urges residents to register their sim cards

Mayor Benjamin Magalong is enjoining all residents of the Summer Capital who are active Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) users to register their SIM cards in adherence to Republic Act 11934 or the SIM Registration Act that requires the registration of SIM for electronic devices by all users.

Signed on October 10, 2022 and with the registration officially commencing on December 27 of the same year, the Act aims to promote the responsible use of SIM and provide law enforcement agencies the tools to resolve crimes which involves its utilization and a platform to deter the commission of wrongdoings.
