Mayor Magalong conducted a comprehensive inspection in several barangays affected by Typhoon “Carina”

Baguio City Mayor Benjamin  Magalong and personnel from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (CDRRMO) headed by Engr. Charles Carame and City Building and Architecture (CBAO) led by Arch. Johhny Degay inspected the city to monitor the aftermath of the heavy rain and winds, on 24 July 2024.

This morning, (July 25) Mayor Magalong inspected some barangays that had reported landslides or soil erosion at Lower Quirino Hill, Sto Niño Marcos Highway, and Gabriela Silang.

While the city disaster operations teams promptly attended to these, barangay officials were advised that clearing operations would continue once the weather improved.
