MarSU Litera makes it to the Oath-taking during Regional TES Congress

Boac, Marinduque – Along with other bona fide, re-accredited, and recognized student organizations, the Marinduque State University (MarSU) Litera Club has a full list of officers, a modest accomplishment report, and some initial plans in Boac main campus. Last September 6, the MarSU Litera officer took their respective oath of office with the president officer vice president of student affairs and services student regent, and the director of student affairs and services.

Led by its president, Gerard Angelo Diana stirred his co-officers and concurrent officers from Arts and Social Sciences Student Organization, Bachelor of Culture, Arts Education, Language Enthusiasts, Communication and Social Work Society. The MarSU vice president Aine Magalang is continuing the legacy of environmentalist, public servant, and local historian “Myke” Miguel Magalang. The other MarSU Litera officers: Micaella Andrin (secretary), Shainna Batayola (treasurer), Maria Luisa Lumanog (auditor), Diwa’y Malaya Loreto (Public Information Officer), Isabel De Luna (PIO), Jodi Anne Yvette Estoya and Ronniel Guen Hadap (project managers).

The MarSU Litera board of Consultants is composed as follows from the College of Arts and Social Sciences Dean, Dr. Ernesto Largado, the Sentro publication head Dr. Nikka Mae Adling, the Culture and Arts Head Asst. Prof. Ruby Ann Lantita, Office of Media and International Affairs director Sir Ramoncito Mandia, MarSU Information unit head Mam Desiree Anne Sto Domingo, Sentro ng Wika at Kultura director Mam Aubrey Jen Matibag and MarSU brass band leader Sir Allan Robert Mascareñas.

Marinduque SUC spearheaded the Tertiary Education Scholars (TES) Regional Congress from September 4 to 8. The highlight of the said event is the investiture of the first university President Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta and the official conferment of university status by no less than the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) chairperson Dr. Propero De Vera. There was the Mimarapalikula film festival and Battle of the Bands along with visual arts,  gender & development, and multimedia, photography, and videography workshops for regional representatives from Mimaropa.
