MarSU holds a weeklong Celebration coinciding with Civil Service, Philippine Creative Industries and Development Policy Research Month, Desiree Anne Sto. Domingo, MarSU Information Unit

BOAC, Marinduque, The Marinduque State University (MarSU) opens its doors as visitors from various academic sectors join the institution in its remarkable weeklong celebrations from September 3 to 8, 2024.

As the MarSU stands as a beacon of hope and progress in the province of Marinduque heralding a new era for academic advancement and transformation in the region, a weeklong event will be hosted as a transformative chapter for higher education in the region where esteemed educators, administrators, and stakeholders join forces to embark on a journey that promises to challenge the call of the changing academic landscape.

Officials from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) headed by its esteemed Chairperson, Hon. J. Prospero E. de Vera III is coming to visit the Marinduque State University on September 4-8, 2024 for important events such as the 2024 MIMAROPA Student TES Congress, MarSU Conferment of University Status, the Investiture of the University President Prof. Zulueta, the Unveiling and Inspection of Institutional Development and Innovation Grants (IDIG) Projects, the Groundbreaking of Sports and Wellness for I.D.E.A.L., the Town Hall Meeting with MIMAROPA HEI officials and awarding of TOP Performing HEIs and students, the Launching of the Smart Campus Project, and Padyak.

The expected guests and participants for this weeklong event include the delegations from the Commission on Higher Education, CHEDRO MIMAROPA, MIMAROPA SUC Presidents, other invited SUC Presidents from around the country, MarSU Board of Regents, students and personnel from MIMAROPA HEIs, Provincial

Government of Marinduque, Local Government Units, NGAs, MarSU officials, personnel, and students. Highlighting the significant academic milestone for this week, the transition to university status will enable us to expand our academic offerings, enhance research opportunities, and strengthen our impact on the local and global communities.

Additionally, the presence of the guests, participants, partners, and other stakeholders will signify the collaborative spirit and shared dedication to shaping a brighter future for education in the province of Marinduque.
