Manhunt OPS ongoing for suspect of a shooting incident in Abra

PROCOR cops are now on the hunt for a suspect involved in a shooting incident in Bangued, Abra on April 3, 2022.

Based on the report submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD O LEE, the suspect was identified as Jocel Catalan Boyo, resident of Cabuloan, Bangued, Abra, and the victim was identified as Felix Buenavista Lomidao, 37, and a resident of Lipcan, Bangued, Abra.

According to Bangued Municipal Police Station (MPS), the suspect and the victim were having a drinking session at the wake in Sitio Lipit, Ubbog – Lipcan, Bangued, Abra when without any apparent reason, the suspect shot the victim using a still unidentified caliber of firearm.  As a result, the victim sustained a lone gunshot wound on his left chest and was rushed to Seares Hospital in Bangued, Abra.

The victim is now in stable condition and recuperating in the hospital while an investigation is ongoing to ascertain the motive for the shooting incident. (PROCOR-PIO)
