SM City Baguio really support Mangan Taku and inviting exhibitors, people are always needed a boost and exposure when it comes to local food as always food tourism is being carried by the Department of Tourism, we are doing this because we want to give the opportunity or we want to have a glimpse of what the locals outside of Baguio City and we keep can offer when it comes to food and so, it can become part of the travel experience of every traveler where there can something seek in order that their experience can become meaningful and they can have connection also with the locals through a taste of the food of the destination, that is the very reason why with the new administration under tourism secretary Christina Garcia Frasco we have expanded our product portfolios such as food but also tourism, arts, nature, and adventure, etc. but putting all of these together will really make your best tourism experience so, that is our focus today,”
“I hope you will do this again in the near future also with SM Malls so that we can really come more inclusive you have a park, the malls, and at the same time we have a food crawl we want to really promote the food crawl there are also other participating restaurant outside or within Baguio City or even here at SM Baguio we can have a Mangan Taku food crawl because I know that more restaurants that offer Mangan Taku food, because when we say Mangan Taku food in the Cordillera it would be local food of the Cordillera,”
“Thank you very much for supporting this advocacy of food tourism and we wish you success in this food exhibition,” Ganongan concluded. # Mario Oclaman //FNS
