LOOK: Police officers of Apayao Police Provincial Office (PPO) participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Bamboo and Tree Planting activity in Brgy. Calafug, Conner, and Brgy. Turod, Luna on September 13, 2022.
According to PCOL REYNALDO OGAY, JR., the Provincial Director of Apayao PPO, more than 1,500 Narra tree seedlings and 70 bamboo stalks were planted during the said activity.
With the theme “Buhayin ang Pangangalaga sa Kalikasan”, the activity was participated by the police officers from the different Municipal Police Stations of Apayao PPO, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and the various local government units of Apayao.
The said activity was initiated by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). (PROCOR-PIO / File photos)
