LOOK: Inauguration of the 5th Infantry Division Museum

The new Museum of the 5th Infantry Division (5ID) based at Camp Melchor F Dela Cruz was inaugurated on Nov. 9, 2022, during the commemoration of the 51st death anniversary of Col. Melchor F Dela Cruz, the name behind the 5ID Headquarters. The inauguration was led by Senior Undersecretary Jose C. Faustino Jr., Officer-in-Charge of the Department of National Defense and BGen. Audrey L Pasia, 5ID Commander. Inside are preserved uniforms and photos of Col. Dela Cruz and note-worthy historical facts during colonial times in Region 2. The biography book of Col. Dela Cruz written by Mayo Molina can also be seen and read here. Col. Ferdinand Melchor C Dela Cruz, the current Chief of Staff of 5ID and son of Col.
