Live-in couple fall in a buy-bust operation in Baguio City

CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – (March 4, 2021) -Baguio City operatives arrested two drug suspects in a buy-bust operation conducted at Tam-awan Long Long Road, Purok 4, Pinsao Proper, Baguio City in the late evening of March 3, 2021.

Live-in partners Carl Adam Resurrecion, 20, and Monique Garcia Melchor, 19, were arrested after selling one sachet of suspected shabu weighing about 0.9 gram with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 6, 120.00 to operatives who acted as poseur buyer.

Resurrecion is listed as a Street Level Individual and is included in the Target list of PDEA Baguio.

In the course of the arrest, another two sachets containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu weighing about 1.5 grams with SDP of Php 10, 200.00 were recovered from the possession of suspect Melchor.

Moreover, buy bust money composed of one piece genuine 500 peso bill, five pieces of 1000-peso boodle money, one small black coin purse, and one Rusi motorcycle without plate number were recovered from the suspects.

All confiscated pieces of evidence were marked and inventoried on-site.

Suspects are now facing charges for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). ###
