“LA TRINIDAD FIRECRACKER AND PYROTECHNIC DEVICES ORDINANCE” implement Ordinance No. 17-2014
As we approach the New Year, the Municipality of La Trinidad shall implement ORDINANCE NO. 17-2014 otherwise known as the “LA TRINIDAD FIRECRACKER AND PYROTECHNIC DEVICES ORDINANCE”.
The ordinance states that it shall be unlawful for any person or business establishment to manufacture, sell, offer, distribute, or use any firecracker.
These shall refer to watusi, piccolo, super lolo, atomic triangle, judas belt, bawang, pillbox, boga, goodbye Philippines, Bin laden, Mother rockers, lolo thunder, coke in Can, kwiton, atomic bom, five star, plapla, og, whistle bomb, kabasi, El diablo or labintador, other unlabelled and imported firecrackers.
Moreover, it shall be unlawful to sell, distribute, possess, and use pyrotechnic devices that have no labels, which indicate the name and address of their manufacturers and warning instructions written in English and Filipino.
Pyrotechnic devices shall refer to sparklers, luces, fountains, jumbo regular and special, Roman candles, trompillo, Airwolf, butterfly, all kinds of pyrotechnic devices or pailaw, and other types equivalent to the foregoing devices.
Penalty:
1st Offense: Php 1,000
2nd Offense: Php 2,000
3rd Offense: Php 2,500 OR imprisonment upon the discretion of the court.
