#KALIGKASAN: COPS join the tree planting and “Brigada Eskwela” activities in Ifugao

Keeping the Makakalikasan core value of the PNP alive, Ifugao cops participated in the tree planting and “Brigada Eskwela” activities in Aguinaldo.

Police officers of Ifugao 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) together with Aguinaldo Municipal Police Station (MPS), Ifugao Helping Hands, and Brgy Officials of Monggayang conducted a tree planting activity at Monggayang Elementary School and Rufino Chunglao Science High School in Brgy Moggayang, Aguinaldo, Ifugao.

According to Ifugao 2nd PMFC, the tree planting was initiated by Monggayang Farmers and Fishers Folks Organization.

Working together they were able to plant a total of 241 seedlings of cacao trees donated by the Aguinaldo Municipal Agriculture Office.

Meanwhile, in a separate activity, the same police officers participated in the ongoing “Brigada Eskwela” in Posnaan Elementary School-Hulbo Annex by helping beautify the school garden’s fence through concreting.

Further, in Poblacion, Banaue, the team provided manpower to Mr. Christopher Lim a resident whose house was under construction. The team helped in pouring concrete “buhos” into the resident’s house.

After hours of working together with the relatives and neighbors of Mr. Lim, they were able to successfully finish the “buhos”. (PROCOR-PIO)
