JHMC joins the 2023 Fil-Am Friendship Day Celebration

๐‘๐„๐•๐„๐‹๐ˆ๐๐† ๐ˆ๐ ๐ƒ๐„๐„๐๐„๐‘ ๐…๐‘๐ˆ๐„๐๐ƒ๐’๐‡๐ˆ๐ ๐€๐๐ƒ ๐’๐“๐‘๐Ž๐๐†๐„๐‘ ๐“๐ˆ๐„๐’|| In celebration of the long-standing ties between the Philippines and America that have endured through time and history, John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC ) joined the City Government of Baguio as it marked the 77th Filipino-American Friendship Day at Malcolm Square on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

In attendance were representatives from the Veterans Federation of the Philippines District 1 and 2, Veterans of Foreign Wars and USAFIP-NL INC, CGO-Baguio, JHMC, and various onlookers.

The event featured a retro-country theme, and attendees were dressed in polos paired with boots and topped with cowboy hats. Also, the Chili Cook-off Fest was the eventโ€™s main highlight, with eight

different competitors vying against one another to demonstrate their distinct culinary skills. The dishes whipped up by these participants were judged by Allan R. Garcia, JHMC President, and Chief Executive Officer; Christian Eric Coronation, an Entrepreneur and the private Chef of Blue Carrot Food Truck; and Albert Sotelo, the Managing Partner of Ozard Bed and Breakfast. ### (PR)
