Jail officer commended anew

City officials recently commended and congratulated Jail Senior Officer Rhys Ivan Inso Pawid of the Baguio City Jail – Male Dorm for emerging as champion during the Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya Cascade Trail Challenge Run held last February 25, 2024.

In a resolution, local legislators stated that the local government reaffirms its commitment in promoting health, wellness and athleticism within the community and encourages all residents to pursue active lifestyle and outdoor activities.

Further, the local government recognizes the exceptional dedication, skills and achievements of its public servants in promoting health, wellness and athleticism within the community.

Earlier, Jail Senior Inspector Rhys Ivan Inso Pawid of the Baguio city Jail – Male Dorm and as the Baguio City Start Commander demonstrated remarkable athleticism and leadership by emerging as the champion in the Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya Cascade Trail Challenge covering 36 kilometers last February 25, 2024.

The council claimed that Pawid’s outstanding performance and victory in the challenging trail race not only showcased his personal excellence but also brought honor and prestige to the city.

Moreover, Pawid’s exemplary accomplishment reflects positively on the professionalism, training and dedication of the Baguio City Star unit’s and highlights the city’s commitment in promoting physical fitness and outdoor recreation among its residents.

The council stipulated that the local government extend its sincere appreciation and congratulations to Pawid for his outstanding achievement and for bringing pride and honor to the city.
