Inauguration of its newly constructed two-story Visitors Lounge

The Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO-CAR) celebrated the culmination of a significant project with the inauguration of its newly constructed two-story Visitors Lounge at Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, on December 21, 2024.

The blessing and inaguration of the said building was graced by PMGEN EDGAR ALAN O OKUBO, the Acting Chief of Directorial Staff, who served as the guest of honor and speaker.

The event was led by PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR, the Regional Director of the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO-CAR) and was attended by Engr. Eduardo N. Meneses, the Chairman of the Regional Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (RAGPTD), and Ms. Editha S. Puddoc, the Regional Director of the National Police Commission-CAR.

Also present were PBGEN ROGELIO Z RAYMUNDO, JR, the Deputy Regional Director for Administration; PCOL ELMER E RAGAY, the Deputy Regional Director for Operations; PCOL JULIO S LIZARDO, the Chief Regional Staff; members of the Regional Staff; members of PNPA Class ’92 (TAGAPAGTUPAD); other members of RAGPTD; and key officers and personnel of PRO-CAR.

As the highlight of the event, PMGEN OKUBO together with PBGEN PEREDO, JR, PBGEN RAYMUNDO, JR, Engr. Meneses and NAPOLCOM-CAR Dir. Puddoc led the turn-over of symbolic key, ribbon-cutting, and the unveiling of the commemorative markers, while the blessing was officiated by PCPT (Rev Fr.) ROMMEL R CACAYORIN, JR, the Officer-in-Charge of the Regional Pastoral Office.

This project is a testament to the steadfast support from the PNPA Class ’92 (TAGAPAGTUPAD), RAGPTD, other stakeholders, and the unwavering commitment of the PRO-CAR to enhancing its facilities and providing a conducive environment for visitors.

The newly constructed two-story Visitors Lounge, which started its construction on July 18, 2024, and was successfully completed on December 8, 2024, signifies another step forward in PRO-CAR’s mission to deliver excellent service designed to accommodate guests and provide a welcoming space for various activities.
