I-BESAO COP is the new Mountain Province Police Top COP

The men and women of the Mountain Province Police Provincial Office (MPPPO) formally welcomed its new Provincial Director, PCOL SIBLY P DAWIGUEY, during the Assumption of Command Ceremony held at Camp Lt Geronimo F Montes in Bontoc, Mountain Province on October 27, 2022.

During the ceremony, PROCOR’s Deputy Regional Director for Operation, PCOL RONALD V GAYO presided over the assumption of command of PCOL DAWIGUEY and was witnessed by Governor Bonifacio C Lacwasan Jr.

In his assumption of office message, PCOL DAWIGUEY expressed his sincere gratitude to the PNP leadership who entrusted him with the responsibility. He also seeks the support and competencies of the personnel of Mountain Province PPO as they work together in winning peace in the province.

“It is a privilege yet challenge to serve in my own province”, PCOL DAWIGUEY said.

PCOL DAWIGUEY was the former Chief of the Regional Operations Division before replacing the outgoing Provincial Director, PCOL REY DE PERALTA.

In his message, PCOL GAYO thanked PCOL DE PERALTA for bringing Mountain Province PPO to a greater height of accomplishments even in a short period and congratulated the new Provincial Director, PCOL DAWIGUEY for accepting his appointment.

“We give our full trust to challenge yourself in not only meeting the standards laid upon you but also raising them even higher than what is expected. We know that the responsibility you have is neither an easy one nor to be taken lightly. And there will be an enormous amount of pressure to be expected from this. However, rest assured that you will deliver what is expected of you or even more.
