Highland Hues’ Exhibit at SM City Baguio Captures the Essence of Baguio in Watercolor



Immersed in art: A visitor explores the vibrant watercolor masterpieces at the ‘Highland Hues’ exhibit, celebrating Baguio’s charm and creativity.
BAGUIO CITY, Philippines – SM City Baguio continues to champion local artistry by showcasing the works of Baguio-based watercolor artists in an inspiring exhibition titled “Highland Hues: The Changing Urban Landscapes of Baguio City in Watercolor.” This exhibit highlights the city’s beauty and evolving landscapes through the creative expressions of talented local artists.
Opened on April 1, 2025, at the Lower Basement Exhibit Area of SM City Baguio, the exhibit was organized by Sining sa Tubig, a group of skilled watercolor artists, and also features contributions from Bag-iw Sketchers, a dedicated community of urban sketchers in Baguio.


Through vibrant watercolor paintings, “Highland Hues” offers a fresh perspective on the city’s scenic views, culture, and history. The exhibit features works by Sharla Ngayodan, Devonne Taguiling-Soliba, Marco Miluel Gagarin Lag-ey, and Rea Ann Alviar Abance, each bringing their unique artistic style to the collection.
