High-Value Drug personality collared in Baguio City

CAMP MAJOR BADO DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet – (August 26, 2021) – A High-Value Individual (HVI) was arrested and will be facing charges for violation of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002, after a buy-bust operation conducted in Slaughterhouse, Santo Nino, Baguio City in the late evening of  August 24, 2021.

Citing reports submitted to the Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, joint elements of PDEA CAR and Camdas Police Station (PS2) of Baguio CPO, launched the operation that resulted in the arrest of a suspect identified as Rogelio Postadan III a.k.a. Jako, a High-Value Target (HVT) of PDEA-Baguio for CY 2021.

‘Jako’  was arrested after he sold one (1) sachet of suspected shabu weighing 2 grams with Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 13, 600.00 to an operative who acted as a poseur buyer.

Marking and inventory of the seized pieces of evidence was done on-site in the presence of Barangay Kagawad Melinda Cabaya, Prosecutor Don Manuel Vergara and Media Representative Mr. Charles Niko Limon.

The suspect and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought at the PDEA-CAR office, for documentation and proper disposition. (PROCOR-PIO)
