Groundbreaking ceremony in Apayao Police Provincial Office

A new quartering facility for the personnel of the Apayao Police Provincial Office (PPO) will soon rise following the groundbreaking ceremony held in Camp Elias K Bulut Sr. and Training Center in Brgy. Sta. Lina, Luna, Apayao on May 11, 2023.

PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR., the Regional Director of the Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR), graced the event as the guest of honor speaker.

Other key officers and personalities present were PCOL FREDDIE M LAZONA, the Chief of the Regional Logistics and Research Development Division (RLRDD), PLTCOL GEORGE R MARCA, Officer-in-Charge of Regional Engineering Unit (REU) Cordillera, PCOL JEFFERSON P CARIAGA, the Provincial Director of Apayao PPO; all the Chiefs of Police of Apayao PPO, Hon. Governor Elias C. Bulut Jr., and Congressman Eleanor C Bulut-Begtang.

As a highlight of the ceremony, Rev. Fr. Froilan Pangda led the blessing of the capsule while PBGEN PEREDO JR, PCOL LAZONA, and PLTCOL MARCA laid the time capsule.

In his message, PBGEN PEREDO JR. extended his appreciation to the members of the Local Government Units (LGUs) for their unending support of the plans and programs of the PNP and for helping the Apayao PPO in ensuring peace and order in the province. (PROCOR-PIO/ File photos)
