Groundbreaking, blessing, and turnover ceremony in Danglas, Abra

A new building for Danglas Municipal Police Station (MPS) will soon rise following the Ground Breaking Ceremony held in Barangay Cabaruan, Danglas, Abra on March 7, 2023.

PROCOR Regional Director PBGEN MAFELINO BAZAR together with PCOL FREDDIE LAZONA, the Chief of the Regional Logistics and Research Development Division (RLRDD) visited Abra PPO to personally witness the said ceremony.

Also present during the ceremony were: PCOL MALY CULA, the Provincial Director of Abra Police Provincial Office (PPO); PLTCOL GEORGE MARCA, Chief of the Regional Engineering Unit (RCEU); PCPT MARICRIS MELCHOR, Acting Chief of Police of Danglas MPS; and the Municipal & Barangay Officials of Danglas.

Hon. Menchie B Bernos, Abra Lone District Representative, graced the momentous occasion as the guest of honor and speaker.

In her message, Hon. Bernos lauded the Abra police force under the leadership of PCOL CULA for maintaining peace and order in the province. Further, she also expressed her commitment to supporting the plans, programs, and projects being implemented by the Abra PPO.

As part of the program, Hon. Bernos and PBGEN BAZAR led the burying of the time capsule which comes with the blueprint of the construction design that symbolizes the good and strong partnership between the PNP and the Local Government Unit of Danglas.

Also, as part of the PNP’s capability enhancement program, a Toyota Patrol Jeep was officially turned over to Danglas MPS after the blessing and turnover ceremony, this is an added mobility to the police station especially in responding to crime incidents.

PBGEN BAZAR in his message expressed his gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Danglas under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Esther Bernos for their full support and for prioritizing the construction of the new building of Danglas MPS and vowed to continue providing excellent service to the people of Abra.
