Global Youth Summit conducted in SM City Baguio
Global Youth Summit for the first time conducted here in Baguio City at the SM City Baguio Cinema 2 on September 2, 2023. This event aims to engage and inspire the world’s future experts and youth leaders.
GYS is a one-day event summit where leaders gather to learn and be inspired. Young people today are our leaders of tomorrow. The role of present-day leaders is to prepare and empower the next generation of leaders through education and experiences that will enable them to better understand complex global challenges and trends.
GYS has engaged top leaders from the government, non-government, and business sectors as mentors to the thousands of young leaders who participated in the Global Youth Summit for ten years.

The Global Peace Foundation Philippines is now an Associate Member of the Association of Foundations (AF) an accredited NGO by the Philippines Council NGO Certification (PCNC).
GPF Philippines was officially granted the AF membership and the PCNC accreditation status, considered as “seal of good housekeeping” among members of the NGO community, after passing through the evaluation process and meeting the criteria for organizational governance financial management, and accountability. The NGO membership and accrediting entities exclusively award their certificate to accountable, credible, and capable NGOs that provide service to underprivileged communities and individuals as authorized by the Philippine Government.

Governor said, “This program really empowers our youth not just here in our region but the entire Philippines, as a young Governor makakaasa po kayo na I will be supporting this type of program to show that the youth are the leaders of our country,”
Governador was also proud of the local products in the Province of La Union.
“Sobrang proud ako sa La Union kasi marami talaga ako maipagmamalaking mga lokal na produkto natin more than yun mga natural resources na ino-offer natin kasama na rin diyan yun surfing, mga water falls at mountains at mga local na products sa bawat bayan na may kanya-kanayang best-seller products,” Governor concluded. ### Photos by: Mario Oclaman // FNS
