FREEZER VANS AND CHEST FREEZERS TURNED OVER TO CITY

Department of Agriculture – Cordillera (DA-CAR) Regional Executive Director Cameron Odsey turned over two freezer vans and four units of chest freezers to the city government of Baguio led by Mayor Benjamin Magalong during the Flag Raising Ceremony last November 14, 2022, at the Baguio City Hall grounds.

City Veterinary and Agriculture Office department head Dr. Silardo Bested said that the DA and city awarded 54 chest freezers to various local beneficiaries as of November 13, 2022. The said freezer vans will be used to transport agricultural commodities such as meat products, fruits, and vegetables from farms in the city to the public market.  Photos by Neil Clark Ongchangco
