Fifty Police Commissioned Officers undergo the Investigation Officers Basic Course in Bangued, Abra
A total of 50 Police Commissioned Officers (PCOs) from the different units of PROCOR will undergo the Investigation Officers Basic Course (IOBC) following the opening ceremony held at Gov Andres B Bernos Hall in Camp Colonel Juan G Villamor, Bangued, Abra on May 30, 2023.
Present during the ceremony were PCOL FROILAND LOPEZ, the Acting Provincial Director of Abra Police Provincial Office (PPO); PLTCOL ALLAN GUYGUYON, Deputy Provincial Director for Administration (DPDA); and PLTCOL JOEL DUMAR, Deputy Provincial Director for Operations (DPDO) and other officers.
Also, present through online conferencing were PCOL LEON TALLEO, the Chief of the Regional Special Training Unit (RSTU), and PLTCOL FERDINAND OYDOC, Officer-in-Charge of the Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division (RLDDD).
As the guest of honor and speaker, PCOL JUGITH DEL PRADO, the Chief of the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD) reiterated the importance of opening training and workshops related to investigation as having well-trained police officers in the field of investigation will aid criminal prosecution.
The said Police Commissioned Officers will undergo a 45-day course to enhance their investigative skills and competency in the line of police work. (PROCOR-PIO / File photos)
