Female drug suspect busted in Mankayan

Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet – (March 4, 2021) –  The implementation of search warrant by Benguet police resulted to the arrest of suspect Melody Mariano Delos Reyes for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) at Sitio Labaan, Tabio, Mankayan, Benguet on March 3, 2021.

According to a report from the Provincial Director PCOL REYNALDO PASIWEN of Benguet PPO, the search yielded 20 small heat sealed transparent plastic sachets and five big sachets all containing suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 25.8 grams amounting to a Standard Drug Price of Php 175,440.00.

In addition, three pieces of 1,000 peso bill and a weighing scale were confiscated from the area.

The seized items were inventoried onsite witnessed by Barangay Council members Mr. Fernando D. Jimenez, Mr. Eric L. Daganos, and media representative Mr. Joemar Sacpa.

Suspect Delos Reyes and the confiscated items were brought to Mankayan MPS for documentation and proper disposition. (PROCOR RPIO)
