Female drug personality nabbed in Baguio City

Another drug personality was arrested by Cordillera police in a buy-bust operation conducted in Brgy Lualhati, Baguio City on November 17, 2021.

Citing the reports submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, the suspect was identified as Marites Puntawe Enriquez, 48 years old.

Suspect Enriquez was arrested by joint operatives of RPDEU/ RID/RSOG, RIU-14, Pacdal Police Station (PS3), CDEU-Baguio, and RACU-COR after she sold one (1) sachet of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 0.8 grams and a Standard Drug Price (SDP) amounting to Php 5,440.00 to an operative who acted as a poseur buyer.

In the course of her arrest, operatives were able to recover another two (2) sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of one (1) gram and SDP of Php 6,800.00 from her possession.

The pieces of evidence confiscated were marked and inventoried on-site in the presence of the suspect and witnessed by Prosecutor Isabelo Prudencio, Kagawad Estela Ebon of Brgy Lualhati, and Dionisio Dennis Jr., media representative.

Further, the arrested suspect and pieces of evidence seized were brought to the custody of Pacdal Police Station for proper documentation and disposition while a case for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is being prepared for filing against her. (PROCOR-PIO)
