Baguio City – As part of the 75th anniversary of the Philippine Red Cross simultaneous event was held in Grandstand Melvin Jones, Baguio City on April 15, 2023.
The proponent of the activity was the Board of Directors of the Baguio Chapter of the Philippine Red Cross.
In an interview with PRC Baguio Chapter Administrator Jennelyn M. Terre, “As of this time, we are happy and thank you to all blood donors who shared their gift of life through voluntary blood donation, serve as a typical example of the essence of sharing and giving.
And we are thankful to Mayor Benjamin Magalong for his support in pledging the police officer to be with us as a blood donor and also the pledge of a local youth council to support our dugoyanihan activity.
“It is always WE, not ME. the collaborated effort of the staff, the Board of Directors, and especially the untiring support of the volunteers that makes this meaningful event a success.
Never-ending thanks to the father of the City Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong who is always there to give his words of wisdom.
To all our partners, and stakeholders let us work together for a common goal which is to serve our city.
We are committed to serving,” Terre concluded. Photos by: Mario Oclaman //FNS
