Drug personality convicted

BAGUIO CITY –The Regional Trial Court, First Judicial Region, Branch 61, of Baguio City on December 28, 2020 convicted a drug personality for violation of Sec 11 and 15 of Art II of RA 9165, possession and use of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride (Shabu), respectively.

The court sentenced Robert Manalili David aka Ramon David of 12 to 14 years imprisonment and a fine of P300,000 pesos.

Manalili was arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted last February 13, 2020 along Otek Street, Azkco Barangay, Baguio City, by personnel of the City Drug Enforcement Unit headed by Police Major Nicomedes Olarte III and Police Captain Julius Basinga. Four (4) transparent heat sealed plastic sachets containing shabu weighing a total of 0.9 grams was found in Manalili’s possession.

The PNP remains committed to its mission and its drive in ridding Baguio City of illegal drugs. PCOL ALLEN RAE CO, City Director, said “we will come for them and they will be brought to justice”. He also commended the operating troops for a job well done.  #
