Drug personality arrested in Kalinga, over Php125K Marijuana seized
The relentless efforts of PROCOR cops to curb the presence of illegal drugs in the region resulted in the arrest of a listed drug personality and the discovery of Php 125,725.00 worth of marijuana after the successful implementation of a search warrant in New Balbalan, Lacnog, Tabuk City, Kalinga on October 27, 2021.
Based on the reports submitted to PROCOR Regional Director, PBGEN RONALD OLIVER LEE, operatives of Tabuk CPS together with RDEU, RID PROCOR, and Kalinga PMFC implemented a search warrant issued by Presiding Judge Jerson E. Angog, RTC Branch 25 in Tabuk City, Kalinga, that resulted in the arrest of the suspect identified as Manuel Su-ao Pullis, 59 years old.
During the operation, the operatives were able to discover from the possession of the suspect: twenty (20) pieces of fully grown marijuana plant with an estimated value of Php 4,000.00; forty (40) pieces of marijuana seedlings with an estimated value of Php 1,600.00; marijuana seeds weighing more or less 5 grams with an estimated value of Php 125.00; one (1) brick of suspected dried marijuana leaves and stalks weighing more or less 1,000 grams with Standard Drug Price (SDP) amounting to Php 120,000.00; and other drug paraphernalia.
The markings and inventory of the pieces of evidence found were done on-site in the presence of the suspect and witnessed by media representative Ms. Melisa Guavez, DOJ representative Nakingngak Bangloy, and Barangay Kagawad Alex Addawi.
Further, suspect Pullis, along with the confiscated pieces of evidence, were brought under the custody of Tabuk CPS for proper documentation while a case for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is being prepared for filing against him. (PROCOR-PIO)
