DRUG BUST OPERATION NETS PHP136-M WORTH OF SHABU IN BAGUIO CITY

BAGUIO CITY – (March 25, 2025) Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) led anti-drug operation seized illegal substances worth Php 136,000,000.00 and arrested four suspects at their residence in South China Sea Subdivision, Green Valley, Dontogan, Baguio City.

Authorities confiscated approximately 20 kilograms of suspected shabu in vacuum-sealed plastic packaging. According to PDEA-CAR Regional Director Derrick Arnold C Carreon, one of the suspects is an active uniformed officer, while the other three are civilians.

The suspects will be facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

And violated under Sec 5 (Selling of Dangerous Drugs), and Sec 11 ( Possession of Dangerous Drugs ) Art II of RA 9165.

This successful anti-drug operation was an outcome of intelligence projects of PDEA RO-NCR Northern District Office, PDEA RO-NCR RSET2, PDEA RO CAR Baguio City/Benguet Provincial Office and PRO-CAR RDEU, and Baguio City Police Office (BCPO).
