DAR Turn-over P1.2M Flatbed Dryer to Ifugao ARBs

The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Ifugao officially turned over the P1.2 million Flatbed Dryer to the Hope Farmers’ Organization (HPO) with 60 Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) and members on August 29, 2023, in Barangay Namnama, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao.
Under the Climate Resilient Farm Productivity Support Program (CARPSP) – Major Crop-Based Block Productivity Enhancement, the project has an overall worth of P1.2 million which includes the construction of a flatbed shed and the installation of a flatbed dryer with complete accessories.
ARB and HPO president Nonilon Guingahan, said, βDakkel nga tulong na daytuy during harvest season lalo nu mairana nga pinagtutudo. At least tatta madi mabuluken dagituy mais mi. Maisigurado mi nga dakkel ti paglakwan mi ta good quality tuy produkto mi.β [This is a great help for us farmers during the harvest season, especially when it’s raining. At least now, our corn won’t rot anymore. We can ensure that we will gain more profit because we can guarantee the good quality of our product.]”
Chief Agrarian Reform Program Officer (CARPO) Leonor C. Bascos led the ceremony, symbolizing a collective effort toward progress in the agrarian reform sector. A formal signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and a trust agreement was conducted to serve as a testament to the commitment of all parties involved. ### (PR)
