Cordilleran Athletes were commended and honored by PRO-CAR RD PEREDO JR.

The PRO-CAR Regional Director, PBGEN DAVID K PEREDO, JR, hosts a dinner to commend and honor the exceptional performance of the Cordilleran athletes, some of whom are dependents of PRO-CAR cops, for their outstanding performance during the Palarong Pambansa 2024.

The activity was held at the PRO-CAR Log Cabin, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, on July 17, 2024.

During the event, PBGEN PEREDO, JR, expressed appreciation for the athletes, coaches, and parents, acknowledging their sacrifices and unwavering dedication that contributed to their achievements in their respective sports events.

The Palarong Pambansa (Filipino for “National Games”) is an annual multi-sport event involving student-athletes from 17 regions of the Philippines that aims to promote physical education and sports as an integral part of the basic education curriculum, inculcate values inherent in sports, achieve peace through sports, identify and train young talents for international competitions, and provide a basis to improve school sports development programs.
