City sets Human Rights Summit for barangay officers
The Summer Capital’s 128 punong barangays were enjoined to send their respective Barangay Human Rights Action Officer (BHRAO), one per barangay, to attend the BHRAO summit slated on March 22-23, 8am to 5pm, at the PFVR Gym, Upper Session Road.
In a letter dated March 17, 2023, City Mayor’s Office executive assistant IV Benjamin Macadangdang, a member of the Baguio City Human Rights Task Force, stated that the presence of their respective BHRAO is “crucial to the summit and strongly encouraged, as this will provide opportunity to learn about the latest developments in human rights, issues and best practices for advancing human rights.”
His letter was noted by Mayor Benjamin Magalong.
