City okays SK budgets for several barangays

Mayor Benjamin Magalong has ratified several city council resolutions granting favorable reviews of different Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) barangay budgets for fiscal year 2022 pursuant to section 458 of the Local Government Code of 1991, as amended. 

Resolution No. 345, series of 2022, grants favorable review of the SK budgets of Imelda Village and Scout Barrio barangays while resolution no. 367, series of 2022, does the same for the SK budget of Santo Tomas Proper barangay.

The local legislature’ committee on youth welfare and sports development recommended the granting of favorable reviews of the mentioned SK barangay budgets for fiscal year 2022.

The approved measures also direct the return of the barangays’ respective SK budgets to the City Budget Office for implementation. – Gaby B. Keith
