City okays six more barangay budgets for 2023

Mayor Benjamin Magalong signed separate city council measures granting favorable review of six barangay budgets for fiscal year  2023 pursuant to pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991, as amended.

Resolution no. 519, series of 2023, grants favorable review to the budgets of Quezon Hill Proper and Guisad Surong barangays while resolution no. 526, series of 2023, gives the same to the barangay budgets of Dizon-Manzanillo Subdivision, South Sanitary Camp, Upper Quezon Hill and Loakan Proper.

The City Budget Officer forwarded the preliminary reviewed annual and supplemental budgets of the said barangays to the local legislature for review.

In separate indorsements, the august body’s committee on barangay affairs recommended favorable review of the six barangay budgets for 2023. Both approved measures orders the return of the mentioned barangay budgets to the City Budget Office for implementation. – Gaby B. Keith
