City okays more barangay budgets for 2024

Mayor Benjamin Magalong signed city council resolution no. 247, series of 2024, granting favorable review to the budgets of Harrison-Carantes-Claudio and North Central Aurora Hill barangays for fiscal year 2024 pursuant to pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991, as amended.

The City Budget Officer forwarded for review by the local legislature of the Summer Capital the preliminary reviewed annual budgets of the said barangays.

In its second indorsement, dated April 15, this year, the august body’s committee on barangay affairs recommended a favorable review of the above-mentioned barangay budgets.

The approved measure directs the return of the said barangay budgets to the City Budget Office for implementation. – Gaby B. Keith
