City okays DENR donation acceptance

Mayor Benjamin Magalong signed city council resolution no. 228, series of 2023, approving the acceptance of the donation to the City of Baguio of a Preliminary Disinfection Storage Facility (PDSF) and sixty-three (63) yellow bins for infectious wastes from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) through the Environment Management Bureau-Cordillera Administrative Region (EMB-CAR).

The approved measure authorizes the Mayor to represent the City of Baguio in accepting the donation and in the execution of the needed documents on the same.

It also extends the heartfelt thanks and gratitude of the Summer Capital to the DENR through the EMB-CAR for the project and donations and for considering the city in the implementation of the agency’s various projects.

Meanwhile, the Mayor ratified city council resolution no. 231, series of 2023, authorizing himself to represent the city government to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Health, Center for Health Development-Cordillera Administrative Region (DOH CHD-CAR) for the repair of District Health Centers at Atab, Atok Trail, Aurora Hill, Pinsao and Quirino Hill.
