City mourns passing of former San Vicente kagawad
Mayor Benjamin Magalong signed city council resolution no. 316, series of 2023, expressing the deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences of the city’s officialdom and constituency to the bereaved family of the late William Pangda Bagawe, former kagawad of San Vicente barangay.
The approved measure stated that Bagawe was a dedicated public servant having served his barangay as kagawad from 2002 to 2013 and died on May 16, this year, leaving his family, relatives and friends in deep sorrow.
“During his time, Bagawe has offered his services by initiating programs and projects for the betterment and progress of San Vicente barangay. His contributions will remain in the minds and hearts of his constituents and to the City of Baguio in general,” it added.
His efforts and contributions are well-appreciated and his demise is a great loss not only to his family and friends, but also to the city government of Baguio as a whole, the resolution disclosed.
“Bagawe’s dedication to public service as a government official is worthy of appreciation and recognition,” it stressed. – Gaby B. Keith
