City mourns passing of barangay kagawad

Mayor Benjamin Magalong signed city council resolution no. 381, series of 2023, expressing the deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences of the Summer Capital’s officialdom and constituency to the bereaved family of the late barangay kagawad Benito Puctiyao Allig of Dizon Subdivision barangay.

The measure stated that Allig was a dedicated public servant having served said barangay as kagawad from 2010 until his untimely demise on June 17, this year.

“During his time, Allig has offered his services by initiating programs and projects for the betterment and progress of his barangay. His contributions will remain in the minds and hearts of his constituents and to the City of Baguio in general,” it added.

The resolution pointed out that Allig’s efforts and contributions are well-appreciated and his demise is a great loss not only to his family and friends but also to the city government as a whole.

“His dedication to public service as a government official is worthy of appreciation and recognition,” it stressed. – Gaby B. Keith
