City lauds Criminologist Board Topnotcher

As National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal once declared, “the youth are the fair hopes of our Motherland”.

The city council, jointly and collectively, passed resolution no. 306, series of 2022, congratulating and commending Carl John Pujeda Dela Torre of the University of the Cordilleras (UC) for ranking 3rd place in the June 2022 criminologist licensure examination.

The measure states that the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 12,698 out of 41,913 examinees hurdled the grueling exams conducted from June 12 to 14, this year, at different testing areas.

These areas are Manila, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Cauayan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legaspi, Lucena, Naga, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga and in the Summer Capital.

It states that Dela Torre ranked 3rd in the exams with an average rating of 89.60 percent, “an academic feat which greatly contributes to the continued collective efforts in upholding Baguio City’s title as the ‘Education Capital of the North’ and its sacred duty to mold students into licensed professionals”.

For being one of the criminologist licensure examination’s topnotchers, Dela Torre’s ‘fine achievement definitely inspires other youth and students,” the approved resolution states. – Gaby B. Keith
