City grants favorable review to Padre Burgos SK budget

Mayor Benjamin Magalong ratified city council resolution no. 165, series of 2023, granting favorable review of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) budget of Padre Burgos barangay for fiscal year 2023.

The approved measure stated that the preliminary reviewed SK budget was earlier forwarded by the City Budget Officer to the local legislature for the latter’s review.     

The august body’s committee on youth welfare and sports development, in its 2nd indorsement dated March 6, this year, recommended favorable review of the said budget.

Granting of favorable review is pursuant to pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991, as amended, the resolution added.

It also orders the return of the SK budget of Padre Burgos barangay to the City Budget Office for implementation. – Gaby B. Keith
