City grants favorable review t 13 more barangay budgets

Members of the city council passed two resolutions granting favorable reviews to 13 barangay budgets for fiscal year 2023 pursuant to pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991, as amended.

Resolution no. 285, series of 2023, grants favorable review to the budgets of Imelda Village, Teodora Alonzo, Engineer’s Hill, Sta. Escolastica Village, Lourdes Proper Subdivision, SLU-SVP, Lower Dagsian, Marcoville, Camp Henry T. Allen, Magsaysay Private Road and Cresencia Village barangays.

Meanwhile, resolution no. 286, series of 2023, does the same for the barangay budgets of Gibraltar and Mines View.

The City Budget Officer earlier forwarded the preliminary reviewed annual and supplemental barangay budgets to the local legislature for review.

The august body’s committee on barangay affairs, in its 2nd indorsement dated May 8, this year, recommended favorable review of the mentioned barangay budgets.

Both approved measures direct the return of the above-mentioned barangay budgets to the City Budget Office for implementation. – Gaby B. Keith
