City commends UC for being top performing school in 2022 Criminology exams

The local legislature adopted resolution no. 305, series of 2022, congratulating and commending the University of the Cordilleras (UC) for ranking first place among the country’s top performing schools garnering 94.37 percent overall passing rate in the June 2022 Criminologist Licensure Examination.

The approved measure states that the results revealed that 12,698 out of 41,913 passed the examination conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in various places in the country.

Consequent to the examination, it discloses that UC was ranked number one in the list of top performing schools as per Commission Resolution No. 2017-1058(C).

The resolution states that the PRC includes or qualifies as top performing schools on those with 50 or more examinees and with at least 80 percent passing percentage.

UC had 134 passers out of 142 examinees garnering an overall passing percentage rate of 94.37 percent.

“The City Government of Baguio is proud of the University of the Cordilleras for its exceptional accomplishment that further strengthens the city’s title as the ‘Education Capital of the North’,” the measure states. – Gaby B. Keith
