City cites SLU for placing 2nd Medical Technologist licensure exam

City officials recently congratulated and commended the Saint Louis University (SLU) for ranking second place among all schools nationwide with a 99.63 percent passing rate with 271 passers in the medical technologist licensure examination this year.

In a resolution, local legislators claimed that the achievement of the higher education institution in the 2023 medical technologist licensure examination brought pride and prestige to the city as the uncontested education center of northern Luzon providing quality education for all.

Earlier, SLU was one of the top performing higher education institutions nationwide in the recently concluded 2023 medical technologists licensure examination.

Further, SLU landed in second place among all the higher educational institutions that participated in the said medical technologist examination with a ranting of 99.63 percent passing rate where 271 passed out of 272 examinees who participated in the said examination.         

For the past several decades, SLU has been one of the top performing higher education institutions in the various licensure examinations administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRCO) which have been conducted in accredited testing centers located in different parts of the country.

SLU, which is a Catholic-run higher education institution, is one of the biggest tertiary education institutions in the city. – Dexter A. See
