City approves two more barangay budgets

Mayor Benjamin Magalong ratified city council resolution no. 274, series of 2024, granting favorable review of the budgets of BGH Compound and Lucnab barangays for this year pursuant to pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991, as amended.

The City Budget Officer forwarded for review by the local legislature the said preliminary reviewed annual barangay budgets for calendar year 2024.

In its 2nd Indorsement dated April 25, this year, the august body’s committee on barangay affairs recommended favorable review of the two barangay budgets.

The approved measure directs the return of the above-mentioned barangay budgets to the City Budget Office for implementation. – Gaby B. Keith
