City approves five more barangay budgets for 2023

Mayor Benjamin Magalong signed separate city council measures granting favorable review to five barangay budgets for 2023 pursuant to pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991, as amended.

Resolution no. 531, series of 2023, granta favorable review to the budgets of Middle Quirino Hill and Balsigan barangays while resolution no. 542, series of 2023, does the same for the barangays budgets of Pinget, Lucnab and Upper Q.M..

The City Budget Officer forwarded for review of the local legislature the preliminary reviewed supplemental budgets of the mentioned barangays.

In separate 2nd indorsements, the august body’s committee on barangay affairs recommended favorable review of the five barangay budgets.

The approved resolutions also order the return of the barangay budgets to the City Budget Office for implementation. – Gaby B. Keith
