City accredits Cordilleran Youth Center Inc.

Members of the city council adopted resolution no. 274, series of 2023, accrediting the Cordilleran Youth Center Inc., a duly registered entity with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The accreditation is pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Code of 1991 and its implementing rules and regulations including pertinent memorandum circulars of the Department of the Interior and Local Government.

The accreditation is coterminous with that of the Local Chief Executive, the approved measure stated.

In its 4th endorsement dated April 13, this year, the local legislature’s committee on appropriations and finance, cluster C, finding the said applicant to have sufficiently submitted and compliant with all the requirements of the law, has recommended the accreditation.

The resolution said the organization is now eligible for selection as a member to the city’s local special bodies and to the sectoral or functional committees of the Local Development Council in accordance to the guidelines set thereto.

The organization shall submit to the city council its annual accomplishment reports and financial statements on or before the 20th day of January of every year. – Gaby B. Keith
