CCP and DTI collaborate anew with “Navigate the Touring Circuit” Kickoff
Manila, Philippines – Create Philippines through the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) held its kickoff activity last July 11 at the University of the Philippines (UP) Manila Theater.
The said collaboration aimed to equip the Filipino arts manager with essential skills in event and production management, touring logistics, and art market strategies. The main goal is to enhance the capacity to engage effectively with international markets.
According to CCP, the program includes plenary presentations and expert talks, breakout sessions and discussions, mentoring sessions, and interactive workshops on logistics, budgeting, technical requirements, and more. The opening of the capacity-building program for the performing arts featured Cong. Toff De Venecia, Dennis Marasigan and Vanini Belarmino moderated by Jill Samodio.
In addition, there would be three batches of training sessions which would be held in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao scheduled between July and August. The CCP Cultural Management Division – Arts Education Department said, “Join us in empowering the next generation of Filipino arts managers and elevating our cultural productions to the global stage.
